Just to say:

I am terribly disappointed by the disparate situation of my great motherland, who–having had leaders like Mahatma Gandhi, Sardar Vallabhai Patel, Chandrashekar Azad, Bal Gangadhar Tilak, Bipin Chandra Pal, Lala Lajpat Rai, Bhagat Singh, Subash Chandra Bose, and numerous others–does not seem to have a SINGLE leader today, worthy of being our Prime Minister… !

I think it is pathetic for a civilization and culture, if we can’t get over petty politics, and bring to bear one leader capable of leading us…

  1. I take it you’re not impressed by Sonia Gandhi then?

I don’t know much about her, so I can’t comment.

  2. Well said, Nakul. I share your sentiments.

  3. I’ve only heard good things about Sonia Gandhi here; what is the other side of the story?

  4. I know very little about Mrs. Gandhi, and I’m willing to be educated, but it’s hard for me to imagine that her policies will be worse for India than the way the outgoing government was willing to wink at violence against indians of the Wrong Religion.

I’m not crazy about their economic policies either, but the anti-muslim violence was a real dealbreaker for me.

    1. I guess the answers lie in the following articles:

Having said that, my problem is not so much directed at Sonia, as much as it is at the lack of a good leader… a leader India can trust. A leader who can take us to the success and glory.

      1. thanks, I’ll bookmark them

I dunno, success and glory don’t really seem to come in the same package these days…
