Thanks alittlebig. You seem to be hell-bent on turning me into a “content uploader” čśë

  1. Oh too funny!! I used to LOVE those comics!! They were great for learning all the mythology.

    1. Me too. Everything I know about Indian mythology, I learnt from Amar Chitra Katha.

    2. That is, not considering whatever I learnt from Ramayana, Mahabharata, et al on TV.

      1. čÖé čÖé I was in New Delhi 1975-1979 and we didn’t have a TV… Read the comics voraciously, though.

      2. hmm… Interesting. But knowing most of us get our bearing on mythology from these, what does it say about the veracity of our ‘knowledge’…?

It’s like the Ramayana & Mahabharat we know is through the eyes of Ramanand Sagar and B R Chopra.

Btw, did you know that Amar Chitra Katha has now come up with special “packaged” Ramayana, Mahabharatha, and Mythology collections…?

        1. Didn’t know that, but now I’m curious. I guess I’ll get a package the next time I have a large free chunk of time.
